So you're a twin, KT, can you tell us some more about your twin, and are you identical, and is your twin blind? On second thought, are you>? Heheh.

I'm blind, but my twin can see, and as far as I know we're both identical.

Actually, I'm not a twin, but I know another set of twins (brothers) on here. They're both blind, but don't know if they're identical. I think they are.

We've had two sets of twins in our family. My uncle was one but he was born 10 weeks early in 1964 and hospitals weren't brilliant places back then, so his twin died. My second cousin's also lost twins during pregnancy. I'm the next in our family who could have twins as they run on the female side or maternal side of the familyy. My mum didn't have them, cause I'm an only child, my Aunt didn't have them. She's got three children who're now 8, 11 and 13 years old and my Uncle hasn't had any children yet, but he's got a girlfriend and they seem very happy together and she's only three or four years older than I am, so time will tell I suppose.

There is one set of twins in my family - uncles. I always wanted to be a twin when I was a kid because I thought it would be fun playing pranks on people. I knew two sets of twins in high school. I didn't get to know the one set of boys very well, but another set of boys and I were pretty good friends. They were identical and both very smart. But one was better in science and the other better in math, and they did trade places occasionally to take each others tests. I don't think they ever got caught.

I just remembered another set of twins in my family. My grandmother on my dad's side came from a family of 9 kids, and two of her brothers were twins. So I not only have uncles who are twins, but a set of great uncles, and now a cousin is pregnant with twins.

Mum is a twin and her twin lives in America. I can't remember which part, though. I think one of Mum's daughters used to be a twin but the other one didn't survive. I knew quite a few sets of twins when I was at school, too and in one of them, I knew one twin was in a wheelchair but the other one was perfectly fine and not disabled.

i am a twin. my twin sister can see and we are identical. our voices even sound the same to most people. twins run on my moms side of my family, and on davids mom's side of his family also. so when we become parents, there is a very good chance we might give birth to twins. i think they skip a generation though in my family.
